System Architecture

Core Components

Solar PV Array

High-efficiency monocrystalline or polycrystalline panels, sized from 50 kWp to 1.0 MWp based on your load profile and available roof/ground space. Grid-tied configuration with export capability.

Battery Energy Storage (BESS)

Lithium-ion or LFP battery storage sized to store midday surplus and dispatch during peak hours (6-9 PM). NEMSA-verified — required to unlock the 0.75 peak Export Tariff Factor.

Hybrid Inverter

Grid-tied inverter with anti-islanding protection, IEC 61727 compliance, harmonic filtering, and voltage regulation (±5% at point of connection). Manages solar, battery, grid, and load flows.

LPG Backup (Optional)

Optional LPG-powered generation for nighttime and extended cloudy-day backup. Reduces reliance on expensive diesel while maintaining power continuity.

Smart Monitoring

Real-time monitoring of generation, consumption, export, battery state, and system health. Cloud-connected dashboard with alerts and performance reporting. Essential for MRV carbon finance readiness.

Protection Systems

Surge protection, over/under voltage protection, frequency protection, and automatic disconnection. All paralleling devices rated to withstand 220% nominal voltage per IEC 61727.
